Exposure is a month-long celebration of photography across Alberta. The organization champions powerful contemporary work, creates space for emerging voices, and invites everyone to explore the many ways photography can tell stories.
Our concept reinterprets the festival through the lens of photography itself. The visual language explores the tension between over- and underexposed film, using shifts in light to express the essence of exposure. The logo reflects this dynamic transition while incorporating abstract light leaks and burns, introducing a sense of randomness and discovery. The result is an identity that feels grounded in photographic process yet visually kinetic, embodying how light ultimately shapes perception.
